How Chess League Works

Schedule

At the beginning of each month, groups of 5 players are created based on the results of the previous month.

Matches

You have one calendar month to play your matches with all the other opponents in your group.

Flexibility

Schedule individual appointments with your opponents at your convenience.

Communication

You will have access to your opponents' phone numbers and email addresses, allowing you to choose the best way to communicate. Alternatively, you can send them a message directly on the league's webpage.

How Matches are Played

Each player is scheduled to play one match against every other player in their group.

Match Format

Each match consists of two games—one where you play as Black and another as White. You can agree who will be White in the first game. If not agreed otherwise - White in the first game is the one currently higher in the group table.

Reporting Results

After completing a match, both players are responsible for submitting the results.

Result Validation

In cases of conflicting match results, they will be highlighted in red and require adjustments until both parties agree on the final outcome.

Final Results

Once both players confirm and match their results, they will be locked in gray, and further modifications will be disabled.

Premium Points and Ranking

Premium Rewards

At the top, premium points are prominently displayed, varying based on your group level (indicated in gray after a + sign).

Ranking Dynamics

Your ranking is determined by the outcomes of your matches, the level difference between you and your opponents, and the principle of fair play.

Earning Points

In essence, your performance against stronger opponents yields more points when you win, while losing to a weaker opponent may result in a noticeable point deduction.

Active Ranking

To maintain a dynamic ranking system, we adjust rankings over time to ensure that active and engaged players are recognized, and former top players who have been inactive do not occupy the top positions.
